About Pokemon Team Maker
Pokemon Team Maker is an independent, fan-made team planning tool. It exists to answer one question players run into in every game: before you commit hours to raising a team, do its six members actually cover each other's weaknesses? The builder lets you assemble a team, see the combined type matchup table instantly, and adjust before you start grinding.
Where the data comes from
Type matchups, base stats, forms, and game availability are compiled from the mainline games themselves and cross-checked against publicly documented game data. The database currently covers 1,350 Pokemon entries across all nine generations, including regional forms, Gigantamax forms, and all 96 Mega Evolutions — with the newer Mega forms introduced in Pokemon Legends: Z-A and its Mega Dimension expansion. When a special form has no separately documented availability, the page says so instead of guessing.
Who runs the site
The site is built and maintained by a solo developer and long-time Pokemon player. Bug reports and data corrections are genuinely welcome — the fastest way to reach me is hello@pokemonteammaker.com.
